Planning permission has been granted for 3 homes at London Beach golf course St Michaels, Tenterden, Kent designed by Place 54 Architects. The decision report stated: "the proposal constitutes a high standard of design and the proposed palette of materials and overall design / appearance would be appropriate for golf course and rural setting". The landscape proposals include a suitable buffer to the south of the site adjacent to the open countryside and ancient woodland. The designs use local, sustainable, traditional and natural materials with a contemporary barn design concept in keeping with vernacular.
